In a recent effort to promote environmental awareness, Abraham Norman Nortey, alongside fellow students from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), led a comprehensive five-hour cleanup across the campus.

The initiative underscore the importance of a clean environment within the university community.
The cleanup exercise covered several key areas, including Ayensu Round Palace, Adwoa Dufie, Ayensu Plaza, and the Science Market.

Students were actively involved in clearing gutters, sweeping streets, and managing overgrown vegetation, significantly enhancing the cleanliness of these locations.
Following the successful completion of the exercise, Abraham Norman Nortey, CEO of the Visionary Norman Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participating students for their dedication and hard work.

He emphasised the critical role of cleanliness in promoting good health, aligning with the adage, "Cleanliness is next to Godliness."
Nortey urged the university community to maintain responsible waste disposal practices and to make use of the waste bins provided by the Students' Representative Council (SRC) and the university administration.

He stressed the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining a hygienic environment conducive to learning and well-being.
In his remarks, Nortey also extended appreciation to the UCC Environmental Health Section, the Directorate of Public Affairs, the Visionary Norman Foundation, and the Community Assembly for their support, which was instrumental in the success of the initiative.
