Security presence is high at the Asokore Mampong District Court in Kumasi today, Monday, June 3.
This is because actor Lil Win is set to appear before the court after an accident involving a vehicle he was driving last week claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy.
Kwadwo Nkansah, as he is known outside showbiz was arrested this morning by police at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command shortly after he was discharged from hospital.
The family of the deceased has been vocal in demanding justice for their loss.

The police cited his ill-health as the reason for the delay in apprehending him.
He was picked up from the emergency unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital around 6:30 am.
The actor was spotted in a neck collar at the MTTD charge office writing his statement.
Although specific details regarding the accident and Lil Win's involvement have not been disclosed by the police, he was taken into custody at the Manhyia Divisional Police Command of the MTTD as investigations into the incident continues.

The actor, with a bandage on his head still went ahead to his movie premier on the day of the accident.
His management later released a press statement updating Ghanaians about the accident, but the content of the statement has been widely criticised as insensitive to the bereaved family.
The police had been criticised for relaxing the rules of arrest due to Lil Win's social status.
