The Managing Manager of non-alcoholic brand, Guinness Ghana, Dinah Adu-Asare, has called on the media to collaborate with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in ensuring that players do not leave the Women's Premier League (WPL).
In the last few seasons, some of the clubs in the Women's Premier League, have had to build from scratch again as they have let go of their experienced players who depart in search of a 'better' environment.
Since winning the WPL title in 2021, Hasaacas Ladies have lost players like Janet Egyir, Evelyn Badu, Linda Eshun and most recently Doris Boaduwaa, who were all vital in their successes that year.
Addressing the recent trend of female footballers leaving the country, Adu-Asare, called on the media to project the league and make it attractive enough to convince the players to prolong their stay in Ghana.
