This initiative, an initial seed fund of GH₵50,000 to be disbursed among 25 market women, each taking a sum of GH₵2,000, is a testament to Kozie's dedication to the empowerment of women and her resolve to foster economic growth in the Adentan Constituency.
By providing access to capital, she is enabling these hardworking women to expand their businesses, increase their income and contribute to the well-being of their families and the community.
Aside the initial 25 women beneficiaries of the GH₵50,000 seed fund, 5 extra women will benefit from a GH₵10,000 facility every month to ensure more market women are reached.
Kozie's gesture has been widely applauded by the market women, who expressed their gratitude for her support and leadership.
This event has further strengthened her connection with the constituents, and demonstrated her willingness to listen and act on their needs.
