Abetifi Member of Parliament and Minister of Food and Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong, has reiterated the governing New Patriotic Party's (NPP) firm resolve to win the 2024 elections slated for December 7 at all costs.
Addressing a charged crowd at a campaign rally of the NPP in Nsawam in the Eastern Region, Mr Acheampong, who recently came under pressure to withdraw his bid to acquire a sixty per cent stake in four hotels owned by the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) through his Rock City Hotel, stated with certainty that the oppositon National Democratic Congress (NDC) would not win the polls.
According to the politician cum businessman, the NPP exists as an election-winning machine, making it impossible for them to lose the upcoming polls.
“I have said that whether the NDC likes it not, they will never win the 2024 elections. They would not win. You can check their records. They would not win. The NPP would win the elections. The NPP exists to win elections.
The MP suggested that one of the ways by which the NPP would win the election is to rely on the support of pastors, imams and traditionalists in their fold.
“So, we would do whatever it takes to win the elections. We are a political party that has pastors, imams, and traditionalists so whatever means we would take to win the elections, we would do so. ‘Burn the sea if you don’t understand, we'll win and continue with our good works", he noted.
