The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has announced the resignation of Abena Osei-Asare, Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, from her role as a non-executive director effective August 7.
Ms Osei-Asare stepped down after six years of service on the ADB Board of Directors.
Appointed in August 2018, she played a key role in various capacities, notably as the chair of the bank’s Risk Committee.
However, her recent appointments as a board member of the Bank of Ghana and the Financial Stability Council have prompted her departure from ADB as she assumes these new, vital responsibilities.
In a statement, ADB Board Chairman Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II expressed gratitude on behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff, acknowledging Osei-Asare’s significant contributions to the bank’s growth and development during her tenure.
