Deputy Ranking Member on the Agriculture, Food, and Cocoa Affairs Committee of Parliament, Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw, has underscored the National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s commitment to addressing key issues in the agricultural sector.
According to him, there is a proposal titled “Yeredua,” which focuses on vegetable production, particularly targeting irrigation facilities in specific areas.

Speaking in an interview with JoyNews, Dr. Jasaw explained that this proposal aims to end the challenges associated with the importation of horticultural products.
“Our manifesto that will be launched today is a direct response to issues identified in the cocoa subsector, vegetable horticultural production subsector, food subsector, poultry, and everything around agriculture,” he stated ahead of the NDC manifesto launch on August 24.
