A 12-year-old boy has died after his eight-year-old brother accidentally discharged their father’s gun while at home.
The unfortunate incident occurred at Twifo Ashire in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region.
Adom News’ correspondent, Thomas Oppong reported that, the incident happened while the deceased was eating.
The young brother for reasons not clear went for the gun, loaded with ammunition and mistakenly shot his brother while playing with the trigger.
The incident was reported to the Twifo Praso Police who swiftly went to the scene and deposited the body at the mortuary.
Their father, Samuel Hegbige who is a hunter has been arrested to assist with investigation.
