The President John Evans Atta Mills will depart Ghana tomorrow, Tuesday 14th July, 2009 to Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt to attend the XV Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non – Aligned Movement.The president is expected to take part the general debate which will focus on the issue of international solidarity for peace and development and the current global economic and financial crisis.A press statement signed by spokesperson to the President, Mahama Ayariga, said the President will be out for three days.Whilst there, the president will also take part in the election of the Bureau, the admission of new members and the presentation of the report on the VIX Non – Aligned Movement Summit.He will return on 17th July 2009, in his absence, Vice President John Dramani Mahama shall act as President of Ghana, the statement added.Source: Myjoyonline.com
