The family of the late Agodzi Adisi, who was killed by unknown assailants, is calling for justice for their relative.
They insist that the police must ensure that the perpetrators are apprehended and held accountable to face the full force of the law.
The tragic incident occurred last Saturday as he was returning from his farm along his usual route, leaving the residents of Nkwanta in a state of fear.
As a Muslim, Agodzi was laid to rest according to Islamic traditions. His family is demanding a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, which remain unclear.
They described him as a hardworking and disciplined man, dedicated to his farming to support his family.
They emphasised his significant contributions to the development of his community, which earned him the respect and admiration of many.
Agodzi was buried on Friday, October 25, 2024.
Meanwhile, the Nkwanta Municipal Police Command has begun an investigation to apprehend the perpetrators.
The police are urging residents to come forward with any information that could lead to the capture of the assailants.
This incident is not the first of its kind in the Nkwanta municipality. A fresh case in the town involved a 24-year-old farmer who was also attacked on Saturday, October 26 by unknown thugs.
