Wisconsin International University College Ghana has been awarded the prestigious title of “Educational Institution of the Year” at the 2024 Ghana Business Awards, held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
This esteemed event celebrated notable achievements by leaders and institutions across Ghana’s business, education, and public sectors.

In recent years, Wisconsin International University College Ghana has made strides to bolster its reputation and infrastructure. Among its latest advancements is the commissioning of a cutting-edge Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics Laboratory, as well as the launch of a new School of Nursing Skills Laboratory and Communication Broadcasting Studio. These facilities ensure that students gain valuable practical experience, positioning them competitively in the job market.
Additionally, the university has expanded its academic offerings with the introduction of new master’s programmes, such as MSc Nursing, MSc Midwifery, and MPhil Midwifery. Professor Obeng Mireku, President of Wisconsin International University College Ghana, expressed deep appreciation for the recognition, attributing the achievement to the dedication of the university’s faculty, staff, and students.
