Ghanaian filmmaker Mark Cofie Jnr.’s celebrated movie The Rise of a Warrior Hunter has reached new heights, now available on United Airlines flights starting November 1.
After premiering to rave reviews in March and earning its place on the international circuit, The Rise of a Warrior Hunter has quickly become one of Ghana’s standout films of the year.
Director Mark Cofie Jnr. credits the film’s success to hard work and an exceptional team.
“It is refreshing to see Detor rise to this height,” he said.

“Hard work pays, and having the right team ensures success. A lot went into producing Detor, and I must commend my team, the crew, and cast for their selfless contributions. This motivates us to stay the course.”
The Rise of a Warrior Hunter brings to life Ewe folklore, following the epic journey of Detor, his twin sons Atsu Tsaala and Etse Tsaali, and the migration story from Ngotsie to present-day settlements.
The film’s rich cultural narrative and dynamic storytelling have resonated with audiences far and wide.
Passengers on United Airlines can now experience the adventure and legacy of Detor from their seats.
