The Exploratory has formed a strategic partnership with HPW Fresh and Dry Limited, one of Ghana’s leading fruit processing companies to expand practical STEM education in rural communities.
Through this partnership, HPW Ghana will provide sponsorship to support The Exploratory in launching its STEM program in 10 public basic schools within the Upper West Akim and Awutu Senya West Districts.
This initiative will include training workshops for science teachers from selected schools, provision of STEM resources, and the formation of STEM clubs in each of the 10 partner schools.

The program will conclude with a science fair and exhibition, where students will have the opportunity to create and exhibit projects that address challenges in their communities.
At the launch of the program, HPW Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to promoting practical STEM education through partnerships with STEM-focused organizations like The Exploratory.
The Programs Manager for The Exploratory, Mr. Christian Sackey-Acquah, praised the collaboration as a vital step in supporting schools in rural communities that lack the needed resources to make the teaching and learning of STEM practical and exciting.

“I strongly believe that no teacher or student should be left behind in the current wave of enthusiasm surrounding STEM education. Unfortunately, many schools in rural communities have limited or no access to STEM tools and it is only through partnerships like this that The Exploratory can expand its programs to these underserved areas”, he stated.
The launch event was attended by the HPW Ghana team, led by Michael Fumey, along with representatives from the Upper West Akim District Education Directorate and the Awutu Senya West District Education Directorate.
