Accra Lions’ winless run in the Ghana Premier League continued with a 0-0 draw against Hearts of Lions on Saturday.
The battle of the Lions, produced a drab show for neutrals, with chances few and far between.
Accra Lions, who were winless in 6 games, coming into the game, were looking for a win to move them out of the relegation zone, but that wasn’t to be.
It was also a missed opportunity against one of the league’s struggling clubs, for Hearts of Lions, who could’ve gone joint top, temporarily, with a win.
The result leaves Accra Lions bottom of the league with just 9 points, while Hearts of Lions lie in 3rd place, 4 points behind leaders, Nations FC, who upset Asante Kotoko.
