Nigerian Afrobeats artiste Kizz Daniel has proffered advice to other musicians not to pay attention to the clout that comes with social media figures.
In a post on X, the 'Buga' singer rather suggested that musicians should focus on their craft and the work they churn out, because he believes that is what will give them the necessary elevation.
He mentioned four-time Grammy Awards winner, Killer Mike, as an artiste whose success does not depend on social media trends.
“Leave social media algorithms, focus on your craft … have you ever heard of a guy called KILLER MIKE guess not … 4 Times Grammy winner, stop chasing the number 1 song, it’s meh now = everything can be controlled …. Most of those songs numbers no dey correlate on other platforms … check “, he posted on X.
Kizz Daniel is known for songs such as 'Cough', 'Buga', 'Nesesari', 'Double', 'No Wahala' and 'Marhaba.'
