Investigators from the Office of the Special Prosecutor have begun questioning journalists and other individuals who witnessed the MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Alhassan's food distribution.
The incumbent MP was spotted distributing packs of food to voters lined up to cast their ballots at the Legon Police Station.
Some officials of the Electoral Commission and security personnel supervising the process also received the food packs.
The incident agitated the opposition National Democratic Congress' Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency, actor John Dumelo and executives of the party, as Lydia Alhassan led the sharing.

Fresh details reveal that personnel from the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) visited the scene after reports of the incident went viral.
They collected the contact information of key witnesses, including journalists, as part of what they described as an investigation into the matter.
