Ablekuma West MP Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has dismissed reports alleging that food distributed by her team to party agents on voting day was rejected by constituents of the Ablekuma West constituency.
Describing the claims as “reckless and unfounded,” the MP stated emphatically that the incident did not occur, labelling the reports as fabrications aimed at misleading the public and tarnishing her reputation.
“This baseless narrative is devoid of any factual merit and reflects a complete failure on the part of the platform to adhere to basic journalistic ethics of fact-checking and accuracy,” she stated in a press release.
Reaffirming her commitment to the welfare of her constituents, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful emphasized that any logistical support provided by her team on election day was well-received.
She further described the publication as a “malicious attempt to sow discord and undermine the unity and trust” she has built with her constituents over the years.
The MP also assured her supporters that she remains dedicated to serving the people of Ablekuma West with “integrity and humility.”
She urged her constituents not to be distracted by such unfounded reports and to focus on the electoral process.
Ursula Owusu-Ekuful concluded her statement with a strong declaration: “Winning is a must!”
