The Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana has congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the December 7 polls.
The IPR Ghana is delighted that a distinguished Fellow and member of the Institute, Mr Mahama, has been elected once again to the very high Office of the President of Ghana.
In a message to the President-elect, Esther A. N. Cobbah President of IPR, Ghana, and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Communication Africa Ltd, (Stratcomm Africa), said: “IPR Ghana is most delighted to extend to you, John Dramani Mahama, hearty congratulations.”
“We wish you every success as you take up the challenge of the highest office of the nation.
“We pray for wisdom, strength and courage for you and may your tenure indeed see a reset of the nation. God bless you. God bless our homeland, Ghana!”
The statement said the President-elect is a qualified communication professional.
He has been a member of the Institute of Public Relations for many years and became a Fellow of the Institute.
The Institute also applauded the President Elect on his selection of a female running mate who will now be Ghana’s first female Vice President.
The statement said the Institute took the opportunity to congratulate the Vice President-elect, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang on her historic election.
