The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ashaiman, Ernest Henry Norgbey, has assured residents of his willingness to deliver on his election campaign promises.
In an interview, Mr. Norgbey reiterated that all the promises made by President-elect, John Mahama, and himself to the Ashaiman people, would come to pass, as according to him, 2025 would bring goodwill and everything their hearts desired.
He said they should keep their hope alive, stay calm and concentrate on the goal while praying for the new government to make a good change in their lives.
He commended the women for campaigning for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), saying, “The women have worked tirelessly for us to win the election; we should all make it a point to take care of them.”
The MP revealed that in the Greater Accra region, where the men could not enter, the women were there to do magic, and therefore the party must acknowledge them.
“Congratulations for the good work done. May God bless you all. the power we have, we should hold on tight to it so that it does not slip from our hands in 2028,” he said.
He noted that for the NDC to maintain the Ashaiman seat for 16 years would depend on their hard work, and therefore, expressed gratitude to the people of Ashaiman for the opportunity to serve them again.
Mr Norgbey wished the people a good festive period, expressing the hope that the remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ would bring hope, long life, and prosperity to Ghanaians.
