At Afienya Fest 2024 which was held on December 28, 2024, Lord Morrgan delivered an unforgettable performance that left the patrons asking for more.
The event, hosted by the Afienya Development Committee, brought together over 7,000 fans to celebrate local culture and music, and the Afrobeat star was undoubtedly the highlight of the night.
During his set, which featured hits like Party Time, Be Nice to Me, Ayalolo, Drink Something, and Kpanla, Lord Morrgan connected with the audience in a way that only he can. But what truly made the night unforgettable was an unexpected interaction with a die-hard fan.
As Lord Morrgan performed, he noticed one particular fan by name Wale in the crowd shouting his name with unwavering enthusiasm. Seeing the fan’s excitement, the artiste invited him on stage and asked, “What would you like as a gift from me, Lord Morrgan?” Without hesitation, the fan replied, “A motorbike!” Lord Morrgan therefore made a promise that stunned the patrons.
Looking the fan in the eye, Lord said, “Before the end of January, I will get you a brand new motorbike.”
Throughout the evening, Lord Morrgan’s generosity didn’t stop there. After a fan threw cash at him in appreciation, his team threw it back into the crowd. Later, he surprised the audience again by showering them with bundles of cash.
Afienya Fest 2024 ended on a high note, and fans are already anticipating more surprises from Lord Morrgan in the coming year.
