Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Fred Pappoe, believes a 'committed' management committee is key to the success of any national team.
The Black Stars are the latest team to have their Management Committee reconstituted following their failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The announcement of the new team came over the weekend with Randy Abbey and Stephen Appiah heavily involved with support from Moses Armah, Richard Nsenkyire and Samuel Aboabire.
According to Pappoe, these names will not ensure success if they are unable to execute their task.
“A well-functioning Management Committee is relevant for the running of our football or national teams, but if the members are not committed, they will be there only in name,” Pappoe said in an interview with Sporty FM.
“The duties of the Management Committee include organization, planning, preparation, camping, accommodation, counselling, and support for the technical team."
Ghanaians will be hoping the experienced hands involved in the new management committee of the Black Stars will propel the team to new beginnings.
