The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has expressed profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for nominating him to serve as Ghana’s Foreign Minister.
In a heartfelt statement posted on Facebook, Mr Ablakwa pledged to uphold the nation’s best interests with unwavering patriotism, innovation, and integrity when approved to serve.
“I am enormously thankful to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for nominating me to serve as Ghana’s Foreign Minister. My solemn pledge is to diligently assist President Mahama in championing Ghana’s best interests at all times, with unquestionable patriotism, innovation, and integrity,” he affirmed.
Mr Ablakwa also extended his appreciation to his family, the people of North Tongu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and Ghanaians at large for their continuous support throughout his political journey.
“Immense gratitude to my family, North Tongu, NDC, and all amazing Ghanaians for the incredible support throughout the years. I won’t let you down,” he assured.
As he prepares to assume the critical role of Foreign Minister, Ablakwa vowed to work diligently for the good of Ghana and its citizens, stating, “Let’s do it, for God and Country.”
The North Tongu MP's nomination has been met with widespread commendation, given his track record as a passionate advocate for national development and his commitment to representing Ghana on the global stage.
