President John Mahama has appointed Malik Basintale as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).
The announcement was confirmed by Mr Basintale on his social media platforms, where he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President for the opportunity.
“Thank you, Mr President, John D. Mahama. We shall not fail you and the youth of Ghana!” he wrote, pledging his commitment to the agency's mission.
The Youth Employment Agency plays seeks to address unemployment among Ghanaian youth by creating job opportunities and providing skills development programmes.
Basintale is a staunch youth advocate and prominent figure within the National Democratic Congress.
