The 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Election Review Committee, chaired by Prof. Mike Oquaye, is set to embark on a nationwide visitation to all 276 constituencies effective Monday, January 27, 2025.
The initiative aims to engage stakeholders and conduct a comprehensive review of the factors that influenced the party's performance in the December 7, 2024, general elections.
In a statement addressed to Regional and Constituency Executive Committees, the committee reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the party’s structures and strategies.
It stated that the insights gained from these engagements would play a pivotal role in shaping the party’s future.
To ensure an effective and efficient review process, the committee has formed six teams, each assigned to specific regions.
These teams will meet with local party executives and other stakeholders to gather information and share insights on the party’s electoral performance.
The committee called on Regional and Constituency Executive Committees to support the process by securing appropriate venues for the meetings, ensuring the attendance of relevant stakeholders, and providing constituency-specific data to aid the review process.
"Your cooperation and unwavering commitment to this process are critical to its success. We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to working closely with you to strengthen our party’s future," the party added.
