Manufacturers of Hepa Plus Mixture, Ebenage Herbal, has set aside a percentage of the company’s sales proceeds to be donated to the Heal Komfo Anokye Project.
The generated amount will be presented to the project up till the completion of the full renovation of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
By the arrangement, a unit of each of the company’s products sold on the market has a component dedicated to the course.

The first donation of 30,000 cedis has been made, in anticipation of a series of donations to be made from the dedicated fund.
Founder of the Ebenage Herbal, Dr. Ebenezer Agyemang, highlighted the company’s dedication to ensure the necessary support is offered to the KATH renovation works.
“Every bottle of Hepa Plus, Pavi and Plasmus capsule or bottle sold, there is a fraction set aside to support the Heal Komfo Anokye Project; from today, we will ensure that whatever amount accrued in a short time is presented to the fund”, he said.
He emphasized, “our donations will be directly proportional to the sales of the product. If the patronage is high, the amount and frequency of our visit will be high”.
Under the Heal KATH Project, three of the hospital’s wards have since been upgraded to modern status.
Phase one of the project termed the demonstration floors, has seen significant renovations, including the completion of works on the leaking roofs and exterior overhauling of dilapidated offices, wards and compartments.

Presently, a process is underway to put the three renovated wards in use to make room for the commencement of the second phase of the project.
Medical Director, Dr. Kwadwo Sarbeng has called for continuous donations to the project spearheaded by the Asantehene.
“This is a project mainly based on donor funding so we still have a long way to go. We say that people should not stop donating towards the project. There shouldn’t be donor fatigue”, he said.
