Former President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community in Ghana, across Africa, and around the world as they commence the sacred month of Ramadan.
In a message to the Muslim Ummah, Akufo-Addo expressed hope that the period of fasting and prayer would further strengthen both individual and collective commitment to peace and good neighborliness.
“It is my wish that the period of Ramadan will strengthen further, our individual and collective resolve in the pursuit of peace and good neighborliness,” he stated.
Ramadan, observed by millions of Muslims worldwide, is a time of deep spiritual reflection, devotion, and self-discipline. It is also a period of charity and unity.
Muslims will embark on a month-long journey of fasting from dawn to dusk, engaging in prayers and acts of kindness in adherence to their faith.
