Bechem United feel "very good" to be back participating in the Ghana Premier League following its resumption.
The country's top-flight competition was halted for five weeks following the death of Asante Kotoko fan Francis Frimpong Pooley.
The late supporter was stabbed to death during Kotoko's week 19 encounter with Nsoatreman at the Nana Koromansah II Park.
As a result, the Ghana FA suspended the competition to engage with clubs and other key stakeholders on ways to curb hooliganism.
However, Pooley was laid to rest on Thursday, March 6, at Heroes Park, Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Meanwhile, Bechem make a trip to face Medeama FC at the TNA Park in Tarkwa.
"The feeling [of resumption] is very good. It is a job we've chosen to do. What happened will not be entertained," Bechem Assistant coach Seth Osei told the club's media.
"Based on our training sessions, I think it was good and we hope to continue then we decide on the plan and strategy [for the clash against Medeama SC].
Meanwhile, the GFA has approved newly enhanced matchday safety and security protocols for various football competitions to curb hooliganism.
The measures include appointing Club Safety and Security Officers and installing CCTV cameras at match venues.
Clubs that fail to comply or cooperate with the protocols will face sanctions, including a GH₵20,000 fine and a venue ban.
