UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Gladys Mensah, known in the music industry as Gladys Bosco, has collaborated with Ghanaian gospel artist, Brother Sammy, on a new song titled “Mpim Pim.”
The title “Mpim Pim,” translating to “thousands,” poignantly encapsulates the theme of the song, which delves into the covert schemes orchestrated by the devil against humanity.
It beautifully emphasises God’s unwavering protection over his children amidst these dark ploys.
The lyrics serve as a heartfelt acknowledgment of God’s provision—a spiritual shield manifested through the Holy Spirit, who watches over us and intercedes at crucial moments.
“Mpim Pim” marks the second musical offering by Gladys Bosco, following her debut release, “Me Ewurade Bra,” which launched in 2024.
In a recent interview, she expressed deep gratitude to God, her dedicated fans, the production team, and Brother Sammy for his invaluable contribution that made this collaboration possible.
Gladys, hailing from the serene town of Asikuma/Odoben/Brakwa in Ghana’s picturesque Central Region, now resides in London.
Her rich cultural heritage and diverse background has influenced her music. In addition to her musical pursuits, she is also a marriage counselor.
As a devout Catholic and the third child in a family of nine, Gladys completed her junior and senior high school education in Ghana before obtaining a Diploma in counseling and working as a private teaching assistant in London.
The soul-stirring “Mpim Pim” was recorded in London and brought to life by producer Kofi Marfo, known as Sir Richie, a prominent Ghanaian radio broadcaster in the UK, with Dr. Ray serving as the skilled sound engineer behind this compelling track.
