Ghanaian musician Fotocopy has opened up on his dreams, excitement, and experiences as a young artiste.
Speaking with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, the child star revealed his ideal performance venues in the future.
"I'd like to perform at the Ghana Music Award here in Ghana (TGMA), the Grammys, and the Oscars. Because I believe that very soon the name Fotocopy will become a household name and that is why I believe that I'll perform on a big stage like that," he said.
Fotocopy also expressed his excitement about being a young artiste, intimating that "the excitement is when you google who is the youngest musician in Ghana and guess what, google gets to tell you is Kaline Nana Kwaakye Fotocopy."
He said he has a solid team that shoulders all the challenges that come with his job.
"As for the problems I don't think I have one or any, because my team are going all out to put the name Fotocopy on the map so as for problems is a big no for me.
They support me a lot on social media especially on TikTok. You find a bunch of them liking, following, commenting, sharing and it makes me feel that my team are doing tremendously well," he noted.
With six songs to his credit, Fotocopy revealed that his favourite is 'Friends Today, Enemies Tomorrow', a song inspired by social media observations.
"Friends Today, Enemies Tomorrow, is basically a world anthem or a street anthem and I got the inspiration from social media because I realised that almost all the best friends I knew today they're friends tomorrow they're enemies and that is why I brought a song like this and I believe everyone relates to the song," he noted.
These are things that happen in people's lives and that is the type of song I'm trying to bring out; things that happen in reality," he said.
In the meantime, Fotocopy has released a new song titled “Friends today, Enemies Tomorrow.”
