The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has assured that the government remains committed to completing the 50 bridges under the Czech Steel Bridges project across the country, aimed at enhancing the country’s infrastructure.

In a recent post on his Facebook page, the Minister highlighted a bilateral meeting he had with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ghana, H.E. Pavel Bílek, where he reaffirmed the government’s resolve to see the project through to completion.
According to him, the 50 Steel Bridges project, a significant infrastructure development initiative, is intended to improve transportation and connect remote areas across the country.

The Adaklu Legislator also took the opportunity to express Ghana’s gratitude to the Czech Republic for its ongoing support in various sectors including technology, defence, materials, and personnel.
Ambassador Bílek, in response, reiterated his country's commitment to supporting Ghana's infrastructure development, particularly in road construction and maintenance.

The meeting, which forms part of broader diplomatic efforts, seeks to strengthen the economic and developmental ties between Ghana and the Czech Republic.
He said the meeting "reflects both countries' dedication to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships in infrastructure and other key sectors."
