Christopher Bonsu Baah and Benjamin Asare are the players handed debut call-ups to the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The two players made Otto Addo’s 23-man squad for the two games against Chad and Madagascar respectively.
Bonsu Baah, who plays his football for Genk, has been one of their best performers in the 2024/25 season.
The winger struggled during his initial time in Belgium but has upped his game since the start of the new campaign leading Genk to the top of the table in the Jupiler Pro League.
The former Shooting Stars man has three goals and three assists to his name this season from 19 starts in the league.
Asare, on the other hand, has been instrumental for Hearts of Oak in their Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians’ shot-stopper is among the goalkeepers with the most clean sheets in the league with 12 to his name after 20 games played.
His performances has contributed heavily to the club’s resurgence in the title race as they currently sit third behind Asante Kotoko and Bibiani GoldStars.
The two would keenly be eyeing a permanent spot in the national team when the team assembles for the two games.
Ghana face Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, before moving to Morocco to play Madagascar three days time.
