President John Mahama has officially sworn in the newly appointed members of the Ghana Armed Forces Council, an important body responsible for overseeing the military's strategic operations and providing key advisory support.
The ceremony, which took place earlier today, saw the following individuals take their oaths of office:
- Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang (Vice President) – Chairperson
- Edward Kofi Omane Boamah – Member
- Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Member
- Mubarak Mohammed Muntaka – Member
- Mr. Daniel Addo – Member
- Mr. Fuseini Iddrisu – Member
- Ms. Nancy Dakwa Ampofo – Member
As the newly sworn-in members take their posts, they will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of Ghana's military policy and advising the government on national security matters.
Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, who assumes the role of Chairperson, will lead the council in making strategic decisions and addressing key military issues.
