President John Mahama has expressed appreciation to the outgoing members of the Armed Forces Council and Service Commanders for their dedicated service to the nation.
Speaking at the inauguration of the new Armed Forces Council at Jubilee House on Monday, March 24, President Mahama praised the outgoing members for their commitment to upholding the professionalism and discipline of the Ghana Armed Forces.
“I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to the outgoing members of the Armed Forces Council and the Service Commanders who have diligently served our nation.
"Your dedication and leadership have contributed immensely to the strengthening of our military and maintaining the high professional standards and discipline that have been a mark of the Ghana Armed Forces,” he stated.
The president emphasised the importance of their contributions, describing their service as invaluable to Ghana’s security and stability.
“Your service has been invaluable, and Ghana is deeply grateful for your efforts,” he said.
President Mahama also congratulated the newly sworn-in members of the Armed Forces Council, expressing confidence in their ability to uphold the values of the military.
“On this note, I also wish to congratulate all newly sworn-in members of the Armed Forces Council. I have no doubt that you will serve with honour, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to Ghana, May God bless you all, and may God bless our homeland Ghana.” he added.
