The Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee has handed Elmina Sharks a Stadium ban for the rest of the 2024/25 season following their misconduct in a league game.
The ban follows the hooliganism acts during their Division One League game against Swedru All Blacks on February 16, 2025.
The Elmina-based side was found guilty of failing to ensure the safety of match officials during the defeat to their rivals, as well as improper behavior from their fans.

As a result, the club will play the rest of their home games in the league behind closed doors.
In addition to the stadium ban, the Sharks have also been fined GHS 20,000 and warned "any violation of the closed-door sanction will result in a 10-game home match stadium ban."
The move by the FA is to curb the growing incidents of hooliganism in the sport.
