The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a warning for ongoing thunderstorms and rainfall in parts of the country tonight.
According to the latest forecast, thunderstorms or rain are expected over the coastal, middle, transition, and parts of the northern sectors.
Cities like Accra, Aflao, Ho, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Kumasi, and Sunyani could experience varying intensities of thunderstorms.
In the Northern regions, places such as Wa, Tamale, and Damongo are likely to experience thunderstorms alongside partly cloudy conditions.
GMet has urged residents to take the necessary precautions to avoid the impacts of potential flooding and disruptions from heavy rains.
The agency also cautioned that the sea remains rough, particularly along the coastline.
