Some students of the Kwadaso Nursing and Midwifery Training College in the Ashanti Region are displaced after fire ravaged one of the school's hostels on Monday evening.
Fifteen rooms and personal belongings, including study materials of the students, were destroyed by the fire.
According to students, the fire started from one of the rooms and spread through the hostel after failure to contain the flame.

It took the fire service hours to douze the flame, which had caused extensive damage.
An eye witness, Emmanuel explains the intervention of the fire service prevented the spread of the fire to nearby houses.
"The fire service succeeded in preventing the spread of the fire to different houses in the vicinity," he said
Students say personal belongings and study materials were lost to the inferno.
Judith Awuah, one of the affected students indicated, "All our books and other items for learning has been distroyed by the fire."
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but students are pointing to frequest power outages.
The fire service has since commenced investigations into the incident.
