Ghanaian artiste Olivetheboy has named Team Eternity as Artiste of the Year for this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
He said this in an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Doreen Avio on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
When asked to pick his favourite to win the TGMAs Artiste of the Year award, with options including King Paluta, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sheriff, Joe Mettle, and Team Eternity, Olivetheboy chose Team Eternity.
“Actually today, I’m feeling very religious, I’m feeling very very religious. I won’t choose people in my circle. [I will choose] Team Eternity, however it goes,” he said.
Olivetheboy’s unexpected response has sparked interest, as only time will tell who wins this Saturday, May 10, 2025.
In the meantime Olivetheboy has also earned nominations in the Most Popular Song of the Year with Asylum, Songwriter of the Year and Afrobeats song of the Year.
