Softcare has donated essential maternity items to the Maternity Ward of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on May 17, as part of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and in commemoration of Mother’s Day.
The donated items included baby diapers, wipes, sanitary pads, and washing powder — all aimed at supporting new mothers and easing the burden of postnatal care.

This thoughtful initiative reflects Softcare’s ongoing commitment to maternal health and community welfare.
Madam Abigail, Senior Midwifery Officer at the hospital, received the donation on behalf of the hospital and expressed gratitude for the timely support.
“This donation will bring much-needed relief to our mothers and the staff in a whole, and we are truly grateful to Softcare for their continued kindness,” she said.
Leading the Softcare team was Mr. Jasper Archer, Commercial Director of Softcare, who presented the items and delivered brief remarks.
“Mother’s Day is a special opportunity to honour mothers and show appreciation for the vital role they play in our society.

"Through our CSR initiatives, Softcare is proud to support maternal care and contribute positively to the communities we serve,” Mr. Archer noted.
The donation formed part of Softcare’s broader CSR agenda, aimed at improving health and hygiene across communities in Ghana.
This gesture not only highlights the significance of Mother’s Day but also reinforces Softcare’s role as a responsible corporate citizen.
