Ghana’s Afrobeats maestro, AD DJ, has reached a significant milestone in his career, having officially been announced as the resident DJ for the fifth season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).

Renowned for his exceptional ability to fuse rhythm with atmosphere, AD DJ is set to take his craft to some of the largest arenas on the African continent, curating musical experiences for basketball lovers and fans alike.

Since the beginning of his career, AD DJ has steadily built a reputation as one of Ghana’s leading DJs, commanding stages from Accra to international destinations such as Kenya, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, France, and South Africa, among others.

His distinctive sound, rooted in Afrobeats, has made him a crowd favourite. His selection as Resident DJ for BAL Season 5 is a testament to his growing influence, not only in Ghana but across the African continent.

Organised by the NBA and FIBA, BAL is one of Africa’s premier basketball competitions, featuring 12 teams from across the continent competing in an electrifying 48-day championship.

This year’s tournament will take place across multiple countries, including Morocco, Senegal, Rwanda and South Africa.

AD DJ is scheduled to perform both in the arena and at the Fan Zone at each stop, bringing his high-energy sets and unmatched crowd control to thousands of fans.

For AD DJ, this is more than just another gig—it is a defining moment in his career. “To be part of something as massive and respected as the BAL is truly an honour,” he shared.
