Ghana international Joseph Paintsil was twice on the scoresheet for LA Galaxy in their league win over Vancouver last night.
Both of Paintsil’s goals came in the second half as his side picked up a 3-0 win in the Major League Soccer.
Matheus Nascimento scored the opening goal of the game after just two minutes played.
LA Galaxy went into the break with the 1-0 lead but there was more to come in the second half.
Paintsil scored after the hour-mark after being assisted by Marco Reus.
The Ghanaian scored again 13 minutes later from the penalty spot to extend the lead to three and wrap up all three points for his team.
The win was only LA Galaxy’s second of the league campaign after picking up six draws and 13 defeats so far.
