President John Dramani Mahama has pledged to lead Ghana with humility, transparency, and a renewed sense of purpose, as he addressed supporters during his “Thank You” tour in the Western North Region.
Addressing the gathering on Tuesday, July 15, Mr Mahama expressed heartfelt gratitude to his supporters for their trust in his leadership and that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“I’m deeply moved by the faith you have placed in my leadership and the NDC,” he said.
“You have given us the opportunity to serve you, and we shall do so with humility, transparency, and commitment. I pledge to you that we shall not disappoint you.”
Mr Mahama highlighted the need for real progress beyond political rhetoric.
“We are resetting Ghana’s development agenda not with empty slogans but with action,” he declared.
He outlined his priorities, promising to tackle poverty, reduce inequality, restore accountability, and build a nation that serves all citizens not just a privileged few.
