Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah will remain with Barcelona B for another season after the Spanish club reached an agreement to extend his loan deal through the 2025/2026 campaign.
Issah, who joined Barça Atlètic (Barcelona B) from Dreams FC at the start of the current season, will now have another year to continue his development in Spain.
The decision comes despite speculation that the Catalan side would decline the option to retain the 19-year-old, following a season where he struggled for regular minutes and failed to make a significant impact.
However, Barcelona B have opted to give the talented attacking midfielder a fresh opportunity to prove his potential, signaling belief in his long-term promise.
Issah was also part of Ghana’s U-20 squad at the recent Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt, where he impressed with a goal and a Man of the Match performance during the team’s World Cup qualification campaign.
The upcoming season will be crucial for Issah, with Barcelona B expected to closely monitor his progress before deciding on a potential permanent transfer.
