The Government of Ghana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FAUREE Link Limited to develop a digital platform aimed at improving access to financing for farmers across the country.
The agreement was signed by Dr Peter Boamah Otokunor, Director of Presidential Initiatives in Agriculture and Agribusiness, on behalf of President John Mahama.
This initiative forms part of government efforts to modernise the agricultural sector and strengthen agribusiness through the use of innovative financial technologies.

Under the terms of the partnership, FAUREE Link Limited will design, deploy, operate, and manage the Dobidi Agro-Input Credit and Farmer Financing Platform (DACFIP).
The platform will provide a robust digital infrastructure to connect farmers with affordable credit, input suppliers, aggregators, off-takers, and financial institutions.

Dr Otokunor says the project is expected to enhance farmers’ access to credit and essential inputs, thereby improving productivity and driving growth in Ghana’s agricultural value chain.
He said, “This collaboration is not just about technology; it is about unlocking opportunities for agricultural financing and bridging the gap for our hard-working farmers.”

He added, “What we are building together is a foundation for a stronger agricultural future, one where farmers are empowered, value chains are integrated, and the promise of inclusive agribusiness is fully realised.”
On his part, Co-Founder & CEO of FAUREE Link Ltd, Azhar Tasadduq, said the project is not about financing farmers but about restoring dignity and giving them a central voice in Ghana’s economic story and not just a seasonal role at the margins.
He said, “Let’s digitise agriculture. Let’s unlock capital. Let’s build farmer wealth, one platform, one season, one harvest at a time.”
