Asiama, a promising Ghanaian musician mentored by Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist and producer Kwame Yeboah has released an infectious single titled ‘On My Way.’
Released on Friday August 8, 2025, ‘On My Way’ was written and performed by Asiama with production from Kwame Yeboah. It was mixed and mastered by Kwame Yeboah and Stefan Heger.
According to Asiama, the song talks about journeying to one’s goals and aspirations through patience.
Executively produced by Augustina Akosia Atiemo, ‘On My Way’ is rendered in English, Ewe and Twi. It incorporates elements of highlife, with the pulse of afrobeats, R&B, soul, and pop, blending tradition with contemporary expression and vulnerability, and an unmistakable sense of self.
Known for his velvety voice, Asiama display his unmatched vocal dexterity on the song, earning him admiration from music lovers and critics.
Asiama is a soul-stirring, genre-fluid Ghanaian singer-songwriter and musician who is reimagining Ghanaian highlife with poetic power and quiet revolution.
With roots in theatre, dance, and music, Asiama brings choreographic precision and emotional rawness to his performances.
Under the mentorship of Kwame Yeboah, Asiama also has a song titled ‘Akoma’, a song about a person torn between desire and conscience, pleading for strength to overcome the temptations of the heart and mind.
