A domestic fire outbreak in the Madina ARS area in the early hours of Saturday, 13th September, has led to the complete destruction of a garage and its contents.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) reported that firefighters from the Madina Fire Station were dispatched to the scene at 2:41 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews found the garage, which was being used as a storeroom, engulfed in flames and heavy smoke.

According to a Facebook post shared by GNFS, firefighters acted swiftly, bringing the blaze under control within nine minutes. The fire was fully extinguished by 3:49 a.m.

Although the garage and everything stored within it were lost to the fire, the timely intervention of the GNFS prevented the flames from spreading to an adjoining building and two nearby vehicles on the property.

No injuries were reported among residents or fire personnel.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The GNFS continues to urge the public to exercise caution and follow basic fire safety measures in homes and storage areas.
