The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has officially endorsed the maiden edition of the Experience Volta in Accra Festival (EVT 058), recognising it as part of the prestigious December in GH calendar of events.
Organised by Ewevi Multimedia Ltd, the owners of Ewe24 TV, a Volta Region-based television channel, the festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 13th December 2025, at the EL-WAK Sports Stadium in Accra.
The event promises a vibrant celebration of the Volta Region’s rich cultural heritage, with traditional chiefs, priests, safo groups, dignitaries, and cultural exhibitions set to feature prominently.

Attendees can look forward to electrifying displays of drumming and dance, authentic Volta cuisine, and a grand climax with the Volta Experience Concert, showcasing leading artistes, DJs, comedians, and performers from the region.
The endorsement by the GTA is being hailed as a significant milestone in positioning the Volta Region as a powerhouse of Ghana’s cultural and creative tourism.
Organisers have described the festival as a call to action for traditional leaders, industry players, businesses, tourism operators, and the diaspora to unite in shaping the event into a global cultural attraction.

In a statement, the Management Board and Event Committee of Ewevi Multimedia expressed appreciation to the GTA, while urging widespread support and partnership to ensure the success of the festival.
“Together, let us create history. Together, let us make the Experience Volta in Accra Festival the pride of the Volta Region and Ghana,” the organisers noted.
