President John Mahama’s post-election honeymoon may be waning, according to the latest survey by Global InfoAnalytics.
The poll reveals a decline in his job approval ratings, with support dropping from 73% in July to 67% in September – a six-point slide.
While the President still enjoys the backing of more than two-thirds of voters, Global InfoAnalytics suggest the dip signals growing scrutiny of his leadership.
The findings show that 22% of respondents now disapprove of the President’s performance, while 11% remain undecided.
This results in a net approval rating of +45%. Despite the decline, the data also marks a first: every region across the country currently approves of the president’s job performance, underscoring a rare moment of national consensus.
Political observers note, however, that maintaining this approval may prove challenging as policy promises begin to meet the realities of governance.
