A new survey by Global InfoAnalytics has found that most Ghanaians believe their standard of living has improved over the past year, though optimism about the future has weakened slightly.
According to the survey, 57% of voters say their living conditions have improved compared to a year ago.
This marks a marginal decline from the July 2025 figure of 59%. Meanwhile, 11% of respondents report that their standard of living has worsened, a slight drop from 12% in the previous poll.
Notably, across all regions, a majority of voters said they were better off than a year ago.
Looking ahead, however, confidence appears to have dipped. While 67% of voters expect their standard of living to improve in the next 12 months, this is down from 72% recorded in July.
At the same time, 20% now believe their circumstances will not improve, up from 16% in the earlier survey.
The findings suggest that while many Ghanaians acknowledge progress in their daily lives, growing concerns about the future may temper the sense of optimism.
