AnimaxFYB Studios, West Africa’s leading animation and multimedia company, has announced a collaboration with the Government of Grenada through the Office of Creative Affairs to roll out an intensive training programme for young creatives.
The initiative, which runs from 5th November to 2nd December, will train participants in animation, photography, videography and live streaming, with the aim of equipping them with world-class skills for employability and global impact.
World-class facilitators will deliver the training onsite in Grenada, bringing expertise from Africa to the Caribbean. On the animation front, AnimaxFYB Studios will be joined by its partners, Toon Boom Animation, the global leader in 2D animation software, to ensure participants gain industry-standard knowledge.
According to AnimaxFYB Studios, the collaboration creates a bridge between Africa and the diaspora by opening pipelines of creativity, innovation and opportunity across borders. The initiative also seeks to invest in the next generation of Grenadian creatives while helping to build sustainable industries that can compete internationally.
Francis Y. Brown, Founder and Creative Director of AnimaxFYB Studios, said:
“This collaboration is not only about training; it’s about legacy. We are creating a shared language of creativity between Africa and the Caribbean, empowering young people to tell their stories with tools that meet global standards.”
With AnimaxFYB Studios and Creative Affairs leading the project, and with the support of Toon Boom, the programme is expected to redefine creative employability in Grenada and beyond.
