Member of Parliament for Tano North, Dr Gideon Boako, has described Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the “selfless leader” Ghanaians can trust to deliver competent and honest leadership.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme on Wednesday, October 1, Dr Boako, who also serves as spokesperson for the former Vice President, said the qualities of truthfulness and integrity set Dr Bawumia apart.
“Ghanaians are looking for someone who will be truthful, honest and competent, and those are the qualities Dr Mahamudu Bawumia possesses,” Dr Boako said. He emphasised that, although no leader is perfect, Dr Bawumia’s track record shows he can be relied upon to act in the best interests of the nation.
The Tano North MP added that Dr Bawumia had consistently proven his ability to take responsibility and deliver results when entrusted with leadership.
“Although he is a human being, he is someone you can trust. He is someone who, when you give him the power to take care of something, he will distinguish himself,” he explained.
Dr Boako insisted that Ghanaians would not only find competence in Dr Bawumia but also a selfless leader dedicated to service.
“Bawumia is the selfless leader Ghanaians can trust,” he stressed, underscoring his belief that the former Vice President remains the best choice to lead the country into the future.
